Gabe cut his teeth in the fast paced world of newspaper photography on the staff of the Portland Press Herald, where he won an Emmy Award for documenting Maine’s heroin crisis. He has captured images in more than 20 countries spanning five continents, and was the first photographer to win an award from the National Press Club.
Gabe co-owns a 1985 BMW 325 race car named “Wilhelm,” has a borderline unhealthy obsession with coffee, and is determined to watch a baseball game in every Major League Ballpark. 15 down, 15 to go!
Having served as the director of photography for Down East Magazine, and as the staff photographer for Yankee Magazine, Mark has nearly a decade of experience in visual storytelling.
