What drives them?

That’s the question we kept asking ourselves when watching mud races from afar. There’s little money to be made, no lives at stake, and certainly no nationally recognized sponsors to race for, just a bunch of guys and gals with big trucks, big tires, and a whole lot of mud.

Hang around enough of these home-grown events, though, and it clicks. You see the smiles on their faces, the pride they have for their machines, and the camaraderie built between complete strangers. It’s more than just racing, it’s a family bound by a love of loud engines and deep mud!
